In research and development, 3D printing can be used to produce components, tools, and prototypes. The ALPHA LASER AL3D-METAL 200 metal 3D printer provides a particularly safe printing environment - and does so with full power and high print density of > 99.9%. The operator has full access to the printing parametrization while doing their own parameter tests or using presets already available in the system. This configuration freedom offers high flexibility for research and development tasks. Multi-material prints are possible and a powder change can be realized in a very short time since only the build chamber needs to be cleaned.With the compact AL3D-METAL, powders can be evaluated, parameters optimized, and tests run without interrupting your larger printer routines.

Complex Geometries

3D metal printing enables the production of complex, and unusual geometries that would not be possible to produce using conventional manufacturing methods. This opens up new design possibilities and enables the optimization of components independent of tool and mould.

When every gram counts on the race track, the testing of new developments is always a necessity. With this in mind, our engineers at ALPHA LASER, in close cooperation with B3D.pl, have further developed and optimized a brake lever. The well-founded topology and weight optimization were the focus of our work. Our own AL3D metal printer was used for the production.

Through the targeted use of modern 3D printing technologies, we were not only able to achieve high manufacturing precision but also significantly reduce the weight and increase resistance. The result is a brake lever made of strong titanium alloy TI-6AL-4V Grade 23, which embodies ALPHA LASER's technical know-how and innovative spirit.
